 Martin has been with Joalpe since 2012 and is our current Warehouse Manager. Outside of work he is a Brazilian Jiu-jitsu champion. He has been competing for 9 years, and achieved his black belt in 2015. He is currently British National Champion and twice European Champion in 2014/5.
Brazilian Jiu-jitsu is a martial art, combat sport and a self defence system that focuses on grappling and ground fighting. Martin is also a gym instructor at Gracie Barra Leeds Brazilian Jiu-jitsu Gym, and has 3 sons who also train with him. His next competition is the London Fall International Open in October. The team at Joalpe want to wish him the best of luck going into this competition, and every one after. |
